O.k. all you web heads out there, time to unite. Friday is the big day! I already have my ticket to the IMAX theatre to see it at the BIG screen. Yes, the truth is out, I am a spider-fan. I tried to keep it to myself, not to get to excited, not to even blog about it, but I can't contain it anymore. I am as excited as I was when I was 8 years old.I have been a Spidey fan ever since I was a small kid, cartoons, comics, toys, etc. (If you don't believe me ask my wife or my daughter.)
I stood in line to see the first midnight showing of the first spiderman movie. Can't do that now, but I am going on opening day. So, all you true believers,(that is a Stan Lee phrase for you non-Marvel comics people) let me hear if you are going, maybe even what you think of the movie.
I am very curious to see how Venom turns out and what they do with his character. I have the original comics of when Venom first showed up, so I am interested to see how it plays out. And no, I haven't gone on any sites to hear the rumors or buzz, I even don't like to watch the trailers, I like the suspense of not knowing, sometimes the trailers and internet give too much of excitement away. The thrill and adventure of letting the story lead you without knowing where it is going is one of the great joys of a good story line.
A nod to my best friend who lives in Minnesota and is a huge Superman fan with whom I always went to the superhero movies - It just won't be the same without you, man.
